CSDA Code Utility for Alpha Five (and QReportBuilder) - An add-in/add-on utility that Saves and Restore Alpha Five desktop configurations for development, Accurate speed testing of code, Code Jump (like a hyperlink to control panel edits), automatic and manual backups of databases, AEX Library compile, and a host of other debugging aids for the Alpha Five development environment. Buttons can be customized and extended with your own tools as well.
CSDA Screen Capture for Alpha Five (and QReportBuilder) - An add-in/add-on utility that was designed to provide built-in, integrated screen captures of Alpha Five windows to help document Alpha Five applications. Alpha Five windows can be captured without trimming, and even brought to the top for quick captures, without moving obscuring windows out of the way. Trial version places watermarks on saved images.
CSDA Barcoding for Alpha Five- An AEX library add-in/add-on functions to make scanning, and printing barcodes simple. In addition, it can generate barcode images for use on web printouts. Barcode printing and display can use ane barcode fonts. Current support is for Code 128 and Code 39. Trial version modifies every other character of the scanned data and barcode outputs.
FREE - CSDA DiagInfo for Alpha Five- An AEX library provides for display and returning diagnostic data about the Hardware, Software and Alpha Five environments for debugging and diagnostic analysis. It is free for use by users, but is also available as a licensed product for those who wish to distribute it with their own products.
Partec A5DOC - A5Doc will document tables, sets, field rules, and scripts in Alpha Five databases. It can also produce an index to all scripts and events.
AIMS App Analyzer - The AIMS App Analyzer creates a list showing where all layouts, scripts, functions, indexes, saved operations, table names, index names, or other user specified text is referenced in an application. The list is used to determine where changes need to be made when updating an application and as a final review before releasing changes.
AIMS_Group_Format - The AIMS_Group_Format addin allows you to "lasso" multiple, even unrelated, objects, on a form and modify the format of groups of objects all at once. For example, you can lasso everything on a frame - including the frame, field labels, graphics, buttons, and fields - and select "read-only" and, since read-only only applies to fields, all the fields will be set to "read-only" with one action.
AIMS Application Registration addin - The AIMS Registration addin is used to securely register an application intended for general distribution.
AIMS Create Index Rebuild - The AIMS Create Index Rebuild function automatically creates a function called Index_Rebuild_Auto() that will rebuild all indexes in your application to their original definition.
AIMS Grab Bag - A "grab bag" of various utility routines - get max field length used, compact data dictionaries, add passwords to scripts, list scripts by date revised, sort the clipboard, and many more.
AIMS Backup (previously A5v5 Backup) - Backup all data files or all application files for any application with this routine. Also allows the developer to define additional files/folders to be included in the backup and allows files to be restored on a file by file basis. This routine makes it easy for remote users to provide you with their latest data and allows developers to make quick backups before running updates or other changes that could accidentally destroy data.
AIMS Fix Array Brackets - In Alpha Five version 6 & up, arrays must be defined with square brackets rather than parenthesis or the script will crash. This routine can be used with older applications to convert all array variables for all scripts and functions at once.
AIMS Script Formatter (Free) - Formats your xbasic code according to your own personal preferences.
AIMS Code Size (Free) - Counts lines, words, and characters in your xbasic code.
AIMS Delete Operations (Free) - Makes it easier and faster to delete multiple Saved Operations at once.
AIMS Auto Increment Function (Free) - This function is used in network situations to reduce the possibility of two users creating a new record with the same auto-increment field value at the same time.
